There is a reason museum curators and mineral collectors the world over use this specific putty to secure their specimens to their displays.

Sold in approximately (90-100g) packages. Enough to mount about 12-24 cabinet (fist-sized) mineral specimens, 3-6 dozen miniature (golf ball-sized) specimens, or up to hundreds of thumbnails. This will naturally vary depending on how your specimens "sit", their shape, weight, etc. and you may get more or less mileage out of a pack. It doesn't expire so stock up for when you need it and save by buying multiples.
